1．Senior Scientist (Bioinformatics)
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement algorithms and software tools using statistical and machine learning techniques to gain insights in complex sequencing data sets.
Support automated pipeline infrastructure and use it to deliver value to our customers.
Communicate research findings through presentations and reports.
Collaborate with other members of the research team to develop and test hypotheses and research questions.
Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field, and incorporate new methodologies and technologies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
PhD in a relevant field such as bioinformatics, biophysics, or statistics.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, or Julia.
Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques, and experience applying these methods to sequencing data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
Additionally, a successful candidate must have experience with more than one of these fields:
Drug discovery
RNA biology
High-throughput biology
Systems biology
AWS architectures
Selection/Screening strategies for gene/Proteins/Drugs
Bioinformatics/Chemoinformatics
Computational, statistical and machine learning methods for analysis, modeling and visualization of biological data

Salary: Variable according to experience and ability (5,000,000 JPY ~ 15,000,000 JPY / year)

Required Skills
Experience in biochemical research
Basic to moderate level or higher PC skills such as Microsoft Office
English communication, reading comprehension of articles and documents, etc.
Preferred Skills
Research experience in the field of RNA biochemistry
Research experience at drug discovery industry (Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry)
(Pharmacology, Biology) Experience in the construction/implementation of evaluation systems, investigation of disease mechanisms, and conducting non-clinical trials through outsourcing to CROs
(Chemistry) Experience in synthetic development, experience in compound synthesis through outsourcing to CROs
Ideal Candidate Profile
Ph.D. or equivalent experience.
Carrying out research and working in an autonomous and spontaneous manner
Communicating smoothly with other researchers and working in a cooperative manner
Willing to actively absorb and communicate new knowledge
Interested in industrialization of scientific research
Working experience is NOT necessary
