Our CTO, Kaoru Komatsu, published a paper on fluid flow-dependent mRNA degradation mechanism in Nature Communications.

We are pleased to announce that Kaoru Komatsu (CTO of xFOREST Therapeutics Co., Ltd.) released the research on fluid flow-dependent mRNA degradation mechanism that determines the left-right asymmetry of the animal body.  Komatsu and his previous colleagues in Hirohide Saito lab performed massive RNA-protein interaction analysis with a randomized RNA library to determine protein-binding motifs.

The paper has been published in Nature Communications.

Title: Fluid flow-induced left-right asymmetric decay of Dand5 mRNA in the mouse embryo requires a Bicc1-Ccr4 RNA degradation complex
